My brother is getting married next spring. He has thought about hiring a sports car for the weekend of the wedding, does anyone know , or have experience, of a sports car hire company. We have tried Bespokes but they were a bit too much and only allow drivers over 25 oh, £1000 is the limit. Any ideas, examples, suggestions.........
cheers

Try Flasher if he hired you the Tamora for the weekend with the £1000 he could very nearly buy himself those nice 18" wheels he hankers after really

I'd advise against using Platinum Hire - used them for my wedding & honeymoon cars & my satisfaction level was very low. If you want more details, let me know - I suppose I'd better not post them here.

I have used Velo a few times through work - never had any problems with them, however I can`t remember what their pricing policy is like.

Try dropping 'Domster' a mail. He (plus various other pistonheaders) are sorting just this service. He's in South Africa on hols currently but will be back on the 23rd and will point you in the right direction I'm sure.

Myself and a group of friends, all under 20, are thinking of hiring a car to go an holiday with! We're staying in the UK, but 2 cars and 4 drivers, we have tried several and none object to our ages! They might object to the length of time two have been driving for though, but they don't need to know that

What to do is, get someone over 25 to hire the car, and tell them that someone under 25 will be drving! I don't know exactly but I think they should be ok with that!!!

The TVR Centre in Barnet has a Griff and a Chimaera 450 for hire. Friendly service, reasonable value and great cars!

TVRADICT: almost everywhere, after a days hunting!, requires the driver/hire driver to be over 25 and have a full license for five years. if you got a 25 year old to hire it and then let you drive it all the blame would fall on the 25 year old who signed the agreement, plus the insurance would be invalid and if the hire co found out they would be emptying your wallet for several years to come! It all looks a bit depressing at the moment!

Where are you trying? i need details, details, details!
