PS3 problem help

Hi, my ps3 is starting to turn itself off on its own and then flash the red light and beeps 3 times, is it fked?
any help would be appreciated

Does it turn on then turn off after like 2 seconds or can u get onto the dashboard then it turns its self off?

On a more serious note (lol) i turn it on and it just turns itself off again and then for a split second it turns yellow, FFS. Looks like a slim is coming.....fk

Mine had a flashing yellow light, was a 60gb. Apparently its common with early PS3's, and I paid £145 for a replacement. The game that was in my PS3 at the time took 6 weeks to be returned.

Can't... I am far too old to use the joystick thingies. I can only ever aim on the sides of the screens. besides, I have COD4 on my macbook, and I get killed in about 4 seconds by pre-pubescent teens.
