I purchased four Oz 8 spokes with the usual peeling lacquer. The wheel on the right has just had the lacqer removed and is still corroded.
Paintstripper shifted the lacquer and fine grades of wet and dry, polish and mops to do the polishing, not bad if I say so myself. It takes about three hours per wheel thumbup

They look the business Steve, are you going to lacquer them again or just give them a repolish every so often?

Hi Stu, halfway through the job and it`s a labour of love. Lacquering the wheels is not an option IMHO. I`ve seen and heard horror stories and I think a bit of bling is ok hehe I`ll give em a polish every now and then.

Steve, lovely wheels clap I'm hoping mine will look like that after this winter .
How did you stop the paint stripper attacking the black paint in the spokes? Was it just care or could you mask it off?

Bob, masking off would be the best bet, I was careful and applied the stripper by small brush, it took more than one application though.
