Has anyone had this done?

There are a few games I would like to play that aren't out here and would be interested in having my 360 modded.

If so, can I please get the details (if it worked well!! LOL).

Also, is it reversible or not?

Cheers

It'll void your warranty if you do decide to get it done, so tread with caution!

FYI: The standard "chip" (reflash of the DVD's firmware) doesn't remove regional setting.

Flashing the DVD firmware is purely about playing copied games.

Games arnt realy region coded, there encoded for pal/NTSC etc I think checkout :

No-one has been able to hack a 360 yet to make it play games from a different region or play home-brew software.

Microsoft apparently put in a mechanism whereby if you try to get it to run code it shouldn't the CPU self-destructs thus making the hacking process very expensive.

also true. I've sent about 3 off now and got refurbs in return. Easy to get the sticker off with a scalpal and a hair drier.
