Really shouldn't have taken the TVR to Halfords. It was fine when I went in, 20 minutes later I come out and my indicator is broken! Do they not know how much these things cost!

Looks like a gentle bump as thats pretty much all the damage there was (other than a small crack in the fiber glass) but still thats one hell of a bit to chose to break.

TBH it's not too bad but I've only had the car a week

Blimey, that is bad luck. cry

The other problem you have now is that if you convert to Kia/BMW lenses that crack in the fibreglass is going to show as well!

Yeah I have a couple of bits so i'll take the lens off and see if I can fix it up. I haven't had a good look at the fiber glass crack, not sure if I can repair it or at least make it less visible but I was thinking about fitting those clear lenses but may have to do some touching up first.

Look on the bright side, if you do convert, and the other one is ok, you can sell the good one and buy a chimeara to go shopping in.hehe
Bloody annoying though, my wife works for sainsburies and her car has a row of about 5 small dints down each side due to shopping trolleys being carelessly bumped into it over the last 2 yrs.

Try adding some orange food food dye to the araldite when you glue it back together, should make the joint less visible, well it did for me 25 years ago....
A wife three kids and no money, the same thing happened on my Saab 96, went to the Saab parts department and the guy told me the priceyikes
I explained I did not want to buy a new car just a light cover, he explained that it did come in a nice box marked with SAAB all over it,I replied but that will go straight in the bin so can I have it at half price without the wonderful box, no joy there so back home and got the glue out and fixed it myself.
