Compact, Compact Flash reader - suggestions?

I would like to be able to view images from my compact flash cards as conveniently on my laptop without transporting a large reader around.

Something like this would be perfect:

But as you can see, the above is less robust than it should be.

Does anyone make a quality version of that device?

Is there another solution, I have a spare 34mm express card slot?

The Sandisks that I have bought all came with a small USB reader - about the size of a CF card. Might be worth a look on ebay. I don't think they came in all packages, I'm not sure what the criteria are....

No compact flash on that unfortunatly, all the other types on that reader are built into the laptop - it's frustrating that they're ignoring CF, probably due to the size.

I've seen a few friends using these, only I can't seem to find these for CF cards, only the smaller ones.

I've also seen adaptors that go into the camera's CF slot to allow it to use SD cards but I think this might slow down the camera?

Ah sorry, I've been immensely slow in not reading the thread properly. I did mean SD cards. For compact Flash I use one of these with a very short USB cable.
