B5 S4 Oil type?

Gonna drop they oil on my audi soon. but I'm unsure of the correct type. Lol

Could someone give me the type and recommened brand to use.

How long are you going to be leaving the oil in the car?

Depends on whether you believe that longlife servicing is a good idea on a turbocharged car.

Audi/VW Synta Gold 10W/40 is what I use (and my chosen specialist MRC)changed at no more than 10000 mile intervals.

Normally also have an interim change at 5000 miles for £50 at Kwikfit - they use a Mobil 5W/30 fully synthetic. Good value at £50

Usually I'll drop the oil every 12months (roughly 5-6k miles )

My last service was @MRC so i'd guess it's on the Synta right now.
