Evening..

Looking for a decent wheel and pedal set, pref with manual control, been looking at the Porsche licenced ones, http://www.fanatec.de/webshop/new_eu/index.php?cPa... which are quite appealing at the moment.

But found this: http://playseats.biz/shop/cat042.php?n=1#1

I can get it a bit cheaper than it says on there (£350) brand new. would it be any good?

I am to build a cockpit sooner or later anyway.

Any other wheel/gear/pedal recomendations?

Cheers. thumbup

I guess it depends on what platform you require it to work on.

PC/PS3 - Logitech G25.

Best bit of kit ive bought and used in along time.

That would be the coolest thing ever, if it had a clutch pedal and a stick shift mind you a game that a clutch and stick were compatable with would be needed

Forza 3. wink

Aaaaand the Logitech G25 above fits the Bill, and works with the 360.

Will be ordering one this week if some people say positive things, then will be to the scrap yard on sat to find a blood flecked seat. smile

I stand corrected, after some investigation the G25 is NOT compatible with the 360 cry

Looks like its the Fanatec clubsport for me! smile

Fanatech clubsport is a fine choice, the pedals are supposed to be fantastic.

I have heard strong rumours of the Logitech G27 though....

I've been using the Microsoft wheel and it's been fine - I had a paddle snap on me and another burn out but it is used extensively.

I'm not too keen on the design of the MS wheel.

Does it have a 'realistic' feel to it?

And if anyone has used the Fanatec stuff, what are the differences in Clubsport and Standard pedals?

I can get the RS Wheel, Standard pedals and Gear selectors cheaper than i can get just the RS wheel and Clubsport pedals.

Which is the best option? smile

I've got a fanatec wheel on pre-order. I currently have a G25, and whilst the actual wheel unit is great, I've broken two of the gear shifts so far, and the fact I can't use it on the 360 is frustrating. I also have the MS wheel, and its a pile of cack.

I don't think that the G27 will be compatible on the 360.

You could hold out for more info on the G27, I was going to order a G25 for my ps3/pc but will wait and see what the new one has to offer

It's not bad - I'm at home with it and I race pretty hardcore...

G25

You'll just have to buy a PS3 for it I'm afraid.
