Help with a Euro Trip please

I need some advice on a trip to the continent please. I hope to have a driving holiday with the wife in November this year. I would like to visit the Porsche museum and also spend some time in Switzerland looking at pretty lakes and mountains etc, Zurich??.

Can anybody recommend things not to miss/hotels to stay in please? My knowledge is pretty much zero in this part of the world. We don't ski but other out doors stuff is welcome (would like to try ice diving). It will be over our aniversary so I'm after relatively nice hotels (but not too expensive).

Hi BM,
Thanks for your advice on this. I'll certainly use it. I won't take you up on your offer of a route though as I prefer to play things by ear a little more.
