Woke up the other morning to find my downstairs bathroom flooded as a huge crack had mysteriously appeared in my toilet cistern overnight...

Anyone know if you can still buy these old fashioned style ones anywhere now, or have they been banned for using too much water? I want a direct hassle free replacement.

B&Q used to do them as I got a replacement lid a few years ago, but nothing there now, and no luck in Wickes, plumbers merchants etc I tried over the weekend. The best I could find were nasty plastic ones. Can't see anything online either.

We all have diddy little air-push buttons now. Yours looks like the kick-start off a jumbo jet... hehe

Or (depending on your risk profile) araldite the fker and put it back!
