Hi,

Hope someone can help, I have just deleted all my holiday pictures from my SD card.

SD card was in my laptop and I was deleting the ones that weren't that great.

First of all take it out of your laptop and put it somewhere safe. The less use it has the more likely you're deleted (but not necessarily erased) photos won't be overwritten.

With the right recovery software you should be able to get most of your data back. I'll let others recommend some software though as I've not had to use any for a while.

I've successfully used Sandisk RescuePro on Sandisk CF cards, it comes free on a mini-cd when you buy a sandisk card.....so if you have it it's worth a shot. hope that's of some use...

If you were only deleting the ones that weren't great then what's the problem?

Don't they go into the laptop's recycle bin then?

Not from a card they wouldn't, just straight deletes them.

Damn. I hate it when you accidentally go Ctrl-A, delete, and then click 'yes' nuts

But to be more helpful, yes, they're probably all still there, you just need to run some image rescue software.

Fabulous piece of software, entirely non-destructive and it has never failed me.

Hi guys, thanks for all your help.

I'll get a hold of some of the software that has been recommended and see If I can recover the pictures.

Just to clarify it is ALL my Holiday pictures that I deleted from the card not just the ones I didn't want.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Thanks again to all those who who haven taken the time to rely
