Just wondered how many 's' were going to the BNG on the 22nd Aug and which run they were goin on. It could be a chance to revisit the roads we were talking about recently around Alston. driving

Hi Chris

I'm definite for the Sunday but have not booked a drive... I may kind of "meet up" along the route or at HHC but have nothing fixed/planned.

I dont want to get into trouble with the official organisers but if you cannot get on the official drive but still want a mini hoon then I'll be happy to meet up with you guys in an unrelated and unofficial capacity.

anyone else ?

K wink

Toying with going Sunday if forecast good (i.e. dry) but with a 400 mile round trip not too bothered with doing a run once there !

Got the map out trying to find more interesting route rather than boring blast all the way up the M6 driving

Will be there, having a leisurely drive over on the saturday afternoon (Cath will be driving the S), not registered on any drives though. Fingers crossed for good weather sunday. Good turn out of S'sss last year even though it was a little bit wet.

The Scottish contingent's plans are also well under way!

We won't be going on the drives though - there's only so much driving enjoyment you can cope with in one day. (That and the risk of permanent hearing damage)

If Jim's in front there's also the risk of choking on petrol fumes
