Turkey - Hire Car

I'm planning to hire a car while im in Turkey, I only plan to hire it for a few days in the middle of the holiday is it best to book it online here or wait until im out there ?

If it's best to book online what are the best sites to check ?

Flying into bodrum, then heading to Gumbet Bay first for a few days then plan to hire a car and explore for a week.

If you still need a car I'll dig out the email address for a mate of mine who does transfers and car hire. He works from Bitez but can drop cars at Bodrum Milas airport if need be.
It is a legit car hire business btw, not a dodgy Turk with a fleet of battered cars.
