7 Coopers from where?

Hi guys,

I am an usher at a friend's wedding in October. He wants to do things with a bit of panache and has decided that he would like all the ushers to be in Minis (the new versions) - be they Coopers or Cooper S.

We need to hire 7 and are having a few stumbling blocks over how to achieve this.

Does anyone have 7 minis for hire or any suggestions how we could achieve this?

I'm doing the usual of searching for the various car websites but as you can imagine, 7 is a larger than normal number.

The wedding is very close to Gatwick.

If anyone had any suggestions as to how I could achieve this I'd be really grateful. We only really need the car for an hour or two - maybe some dealers want to be in the papers or something? Might make a good story?

Any input would be appreicated!

Maybe get in touch with BMW direct, or the magazine - I don't know if they do a Mini one but they do do a BMW one, might make a good little feature.

Try a local mini club? The only thing would be that you would be driven not drive.

How about some owners in the Gatwick area lending 7 of us their cars for a few hours - £50 each and a full tank of gas. Driving licences and credit cards provided aliong with insurance certificates.



Or driving us to the wedding?
