Trying to complete my collection and there are three questions I am struggling with.
1) Was the last issue September 1991 - Aston Martin DBS on front?
2) How many were published in total?
3) Related to 2, can anyone fathom the quarterly issue situation?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Stuart

The history of the magazine is as follows;

1983 Introduced as a quarterly magazine in the Autumn of 1983 - Ferrari Daytona on front cover.
1987 Became a monthly magazine.
1991 September - The last edition - Aston Martin DBS on front cover.

When first introduced as a quarterly magazine (Autumn 1983) it was dated as "seasons" - the last quarterly issue was Winter 87.
There was a gap of a couple of months, until June 1987 when the first monthly edition was published.
In March 1991 Supercar Classics became Supercar & Classics Magazine. The binding changed in June 1987 from metal staples to a "sealed" page format, which was much better. In total sixty six editions were printed - and they weighed in total 23kgs. I almost have a full set - somehow appear to have missed the first two editions!
