Any solution for bent alloys?
Discussion
After experiencing an over happy rear end, I find that both front alloys on my chimaera are bent. Sideways curb impact was taken on the rubber but it was still enough to bend them out of line.
Does anyone know if its possible to get them corrected? I tried one of the local alloy refurbishes but they only fix dents and gouges. I was wondering if there are any specialist out there that can straitened them.
Cheers

If you can't get them straightened there are some for sale in the classifieds.

Hi Mad -
Have you got any farther with your bent rims? There is a guy in York who does amazing things with alloys for the rally teams, if you are still interested, I'll try to dig out his details.
Being fairly lazy, however, if you've already bought some decent used ones, I won't bother

There is also a place in Milton Keynes which claims to be able to straighten alloys. I found it here in the archives but the thread was about a year ago and the chap had some SAAB wheels done. You may want to look-up SAAB (or Milton Keynes) as a way of starting? Rich...
Pristine Wheels. 01908 282628. I've had several sets of wheels refurbed there, including the Griff wheels on my present Chimaera.
