i fancy having a go and a i have GT5 prologue but it is so boring

burnout paradise ultimate box. motorstorm 2 is quite fun too, but can get very samey.

Ferrari challenge is a decent sim although obviously limited on car choice.

I picked up Midnight club LA for a fiver at ASDA living. Its an open world street racer affair, which I've surprisingly enjoyed. Decent online and very good tunning/customization and not as much of a cheese fest as most other street racer games, good varied car line up too.

Grid has already been mentioned which can also be picked up mega cheap. Got to be honest I didn't like it to start with due to the slightly arcadey handling but after a while it's really grown on me, too the point that it's my most played game at the moment. Online is brilliant, especially the destruction derby with a few mates.

Supercar challenge is out in a month, done by the same team as Ferrari challenge but with a much more varied car line up. One too keep an eye on to fill the void until GT arrives maybe.

Likewise, not very impressed with GT5p. Need for speed - shift, due in September, has potential.

Wipeout HD and the newly released (and truly fantastic) Wipeout Fury. And they are an absolute bargain!
