Been looking at FSE power boost valves, anybody got any comments, got one, tried one, worth the money, make any difference etc etc . . . or is it bit like fancy coils and plug leads, cost a lot so MUST be going better ! !

coffee not that I'm at all sceptical

I look at some other forums every now and then and think I've seen something so could be worth a quick search and see what there is already - I'd look and post a link but not sure how to do that so ... (doh!)

It will make it run richer under full throttle (or leaner under part throttle, depending how it's set up).

If the fuelling is correct at full throttle as standard then adding more fuel will reduce the power output. (It is NOT a case of more is better.)

If the engine is running lean at full throttle then (a) it is probably pinking, and (b) adding more fuel will probably improve the pinking and increase the power as long as you don't go too far. But in this case I'd say you are better off fixing the problem that makes it run lean, rather than bodge it with the fuel pressure.

I'm with Green V8S here.

I'd also be concerned about excess fuel washing oil off the bores and increasing wear.

Not decrying them, if that's your thing, but it's not for me, thanks.
