I'm after a possibly sizeable favour from one of the PS masters on here.

I've got the photo below which I'd like printed onto a canvas wrap...except I think that the detail in the photo will be too close to the left and the top of the image when wrapped.

So...I was trying-out increasing the 'canvas size' in PS (top by ~80 pixels, left by ~80-100 pixels, then bottom by ~50-60 pixels to preserve right ratio for wrapping), then cloning the image out into the blank space. But I'm not good enough...esp. at the top (which I'm well aware is a complete b'gger).

The image below has been resized to 1MB, so ideally I'd like someone to have a play-around with the master image (need to preserve the image quality if I'm getting it printed). So if someone could ping me with their e-mail address and I'll mail the full-size item over.

I know it's a big ask - I can't promise payment, but I can promise beers / coffees at the next meet, or a favour in return.

Thanks in advance,

Martin.

There are much better PS people on here than me but realistically, is anyone even going to see the top of the wrap once it's on a wall with the main part of the picture at eye level?
apologies if you or your friends are over 7ft tall wink

Fair point...the side is probably the most important bit to get right...

What size will the finished wrap be? Will make a difference regarding the percentage left for the depth. We make these and allow 50mm around all edges..

About 60x40cm, with a ~3cm 'wrap', so total size 68x48. Original image is ~2,500 x 1,700 pixels, so allowing for ~50% of the 'wrap' to be PS'd I worked on 120pix on the side and 80 top and bottom...but the RHS (and bottom) has spare space, so not so bothered about that...
