So a friend asked me to shoot his wedding, after much deliberation I accepted, put myself through a wedding photography course and attended two other weddings before hand as a second photographer which all went well.

The wedding day was fast flowing with multiple locations, all ok with advanced planning etc

However as the first Hymn was in progress I moved to the back of the church, crouched down to get some down the isle shots and "RIP" go my trousers from front to back!!!!! LOL

So of course under pressure as I was and this being my first wedding I could hardly disappear to buy new ones.. So the wedding rolled on and needless to say most people are smiling in the pictures a bit more than is usual, as my blue boxers are now on show whilst up a step ladder getting group shots! The wedding went well and I hope the Bride & Groom are happy when they see the outcome.

So my tip for weddings is yes pack the SPARE camera/lenses/batteries for flash/Camera/camera CF cards & add to your list SPARE TROUSERS!!!

Hopefully this post will save someone else the embarrassment I went through!

Cheers,
Jon
