Access to the Virgin Lounge at Heathrow

I've flown upper-class on business previously and used the Virgin Lounge at Heathrow each time. Sadly I've not gone quite frequently enough to qualify for Flying Club Gold status (which would mean I can use the lounge even when not flying in upper-class)

Does anyoen know if it is possible to get access to the Heathrow lounge without being a gold club member (I'm a silver member) ?

It'll be for our wedding anniversary next year and its a bit of a special holiday so i dont mind paying a little.

We're flying Premium Economy as we think its the best way to go when there are two people who want to talk to each other (near impossible in Upper, thanks to the cubicles)

Not directly related to the question, but it is possible as bmi Gold to access this lounge (sadly without a guest).

Just tell em why your traveling and Im sure they will lay something on for you. My GF used to work for Virgin and they did bespoke stuff all the time.

Call the customer service line before you book and ask what they can do for you.

I'm a frequent VA traveller. Unless you are flying Upper Class you won't get access to the Club Lounge unless someone from Virgin is doing you a personal favour.
