Having to sell the TVR...

Ducking and diving for the last year, being unemployed, but generally having a good time.
Keeping the 'S' as well as our other cars doesn't make financial sense. Using the car for the odd weekend trip out in the country, as fantastic as it is, doesn't justify its keep and ownership.
I'll be back when Mc Winky is out and the country is back on its feet.

SO...A quick poll, to gauge the best place to advertise.

Sorry to hear that Dave, hope the job front picks up soon and like has been said given you have been out of work for a while, you have held on to the car for longer than most could have.

I sold both my S cars on PH both very quickly, the first was in PH 3 hours when the guy called, came and bought it, its the best place tle advertise for a niche car like the S.

Good luck mate, you will miss the S but it gets easier with time......

I bought mine from a PH Ad after looking at dealers (too expensive) and ebay listings (invariably the last chance saloon for most of those cars as they were so rough although there were some gooduns but overpriced)

Sorry to hear about that Dave I sold my S3 on PH and it went to a very good home. When I was looking for my Elise, the owner of my old S3 contacted me and gave some buying advice, as he had moved on to an Elise.

Wish I knew where that car went...

Goes to its new owner on Saturday - Lincoln area.
Started my new Job today - Brain overload
Off to USA/Mexico next week - Work

Good luck Dave come back soon, there are always wonderful cars to ownand play with, they change from decade to decade but always fun. My oldest was a 1930 Morris Minor convertable 0- 60 in a week, faastest BMW 335i alpina conversion 0-60 in 6 points. The S is great fun but other chances will come along

Seems only yesterday we were at Austec getting the S's tuned up. Lovely car and a great shame to see it go.

Sad news but hopefully you'll be back in the future.
