Interesting stuff.

"Thanks to my background in Photo shop I am able to make up for what the camera cannot do which, puts me a foot forward from other photographers. Even though my interest’s lye in cars I am more than versatile across the range of photographic genres"

Hope you're enjoying the new camera.

That's quite a claim!

Mmm...

Even more so in light of your post on the 9th July Damian.

Bit of a kick in the teeth for those that spent time helping you select your camera and tell how to use the flash gun off camera.

We'll get used to Damians enthusiasm in this section... with time smile

That was written before I got my new new camera so I had to make up in PS what my camera couldn't do and I am grateful for the help people gave me but in all fairness I want to make my own little business so am I meant to undersell myself to keep you lot happy? or am I meant to try and write constructively to get myself business? I am not going to deny that most of you take much better pictures then me but at the end of the day when it comes to putting food on the table I would rather put it on mine, not urs.

You may find spell checkers as useful as CS4 then.

To be honest Damian, it's not so much the sentiment (being bullish about one's talent on a website seems to be the norm these days), it's that you have six grammatical or spelling mistakes in one sentence. That's quite a feat! We all (well most of us) make typos and spelling mistakes on here, but if you are setting yourself up to (and I quote) "make it big", you'll need to convince people you know what you're doing. Making claims like the above would be more believable if they were not littered with silly mistakes.

HTH

ETA - I thought I'd point them out so that you can correct if you wish.

Photo shop should read: Photoshop
do which, should read: do, which
forward from should read: ahead of
interest's should read: interests
lye should read: lie
more than versatile - you are either versatile or you are not. You cannot be more than versatile.

Great thread. hehe

Damien, congrats on the new camera.

I like the way you've used fill flash on these but it's all a bit harsh, maybe invest in a diffuser to soften it.

I wont comment on the web site or the text on the site - I was young once! smile
