Feed your dash

I was chatting to a guy last Saturday who restored pre-WWII cars for a living. I mentioned to him my leather dash was starting to show signs of cracking and he suggested feeding it. I hadn't really thought about it before but it's just like moisturiser in that it helps keep it supple.
I bought some Belvoir leather balsam from my local feeds merchant for about £6 (see pic) which comes with a sponge applicator.


I gave it a quick try last night and have to say the results look good, it brings the sheen and colour back into the leather and smells good too
Time will tell if it actually helps but you can tell the leather was dry before and it certainly doesn't feel that way now.
Just thought I'd report as I haven't seen anything on looking after your leather on here before.

I use an Autoglym product, can't remember if it's the 'leather cleaner' or something else. Seems to work a treat.
