Black to Blue, is it possible?

When the previous owner replaced the hood he changed its colour from blue to black.

I think blue would look better, but the hood at present looks like new.

So was just wondering (if its possible or if someone has done it), if it can be dyed, using something like Renovo hood reviver

I suspect its not a good idea, but thought I would ask!!!

More likely you could go blue to black not the other way.

Would it be worth asking around the TVR community first to see if anyone who has a blue hood and wants to swap it for a black one.
