There's something VERY dodgy about that. Why won't he accept any other form of payment except cash? Why won't he put any MOT on it? Is it his to sell? Why is he selling it on EBay - surely motoring media is going to a better place? Is the condition as good as when it was on Top Gear, or has his dog vomited all over the interior?

Last I looked it was at £5.5k - Too cheap?

The bloke is a Lada Lover, one of my guesses would be that he doesn't have too much spare cash, can you imagine the insurance on that in comparison to the unmodified Russian Rust Box?

£5.5K yea cheap, but at the end of the day it's still a Lada, although if you put neons under it it might encourage the Nova brigade to put their hands in their pockets. :yes;

If it hadn’t been on top gear how much would someone pay for a modified Lada? Probably not much, sounds like fun though.
