Well, not yet a 100% but TVR have been invited to join GT/F3 for 2004, so that proves that they are wanted, but it's now down to TVR to agree the "terms"
I don't know the details, but if I were to hazard a guess, I would suggest that the new organisers have asked TVR to come in line with some of the other race series and "buy" the grid slots, which they then re-sell to the teams and competitors, or something like that.
If this is what's happening, and I'm the first to admit that I may have this wrong, as I'm just shooting in the dark here, then it will depend heavily on the basis upon which the grid places are "sold", for if TVR are expected to lump out a big cheque, I think the organisers better get used to the old "It's in the post" excuse, there's more chance of getting blood out of a stone.
If on the other hand TVR are asked to take responsibility for collecting the funds before each race, then they may accept that, but it will be a fine line.
The new boss for F3/GT is on a mission to change the way things are done, and in simply terms, I think the line will be "adapt to the changes or do the other thing", harsh maybe, but life at the top end of British Motorsport is about commitment and money, and the greatest of these is................ well if It was commitment then we would all be there wouldn't we.
Just my opinion,as I've heard nothing official.

Buy a grid place? What's my £400-500 per race entry fee for then?

TVR underwrite the cost of the grid spaces on offer, then re-coup the costs from the teams/competitors, so you pay TVR. The organisers get the grid fees up front, and no longer have to worry about how many competitors pay up, or something along those lines.
I repeat, I could have this wrong, but in my experience, delays at TVR are usually about money

Ok, I've heard from two reliable sources that Tuscans will be supporting F3/GT.
Good news!
Yes, good news indeed. Although you seem to have got it the wrong way round - the F3/GT boys are actually supporting the main event, the Tuscans
Especially that Rodney Vauxhall fellow......
