Went up to Bug Jam yesterday, it was really muddy when I arrived, took some scary driving to get to my allocated camping across the mud! But it was hot and dry all day and the mud dried out well. Woke up to rain this morning so cleared off quite early. Unfortunatley the car died on the M1, fuel pump knackered so I had to come the rest of the way on a flatbed. Need to get a pump ordered tomorrow to try and make the Nats next week.

Anyhoo some photos...

Typical - give the man a state of-the-art DSLR and he makes them look like they've been shot on date-expired Happy Shopper film, processed in Coca-Cola and then kicked about in the sand!!

Those are by a country mile the most interesting photos of a motoring event I've ever seen.

The only downside is the weird white stripe down the right hand side of the images. I thought my wife's laptop screen was packing up until it did the same in portrait mode! hehe

Ah, so that's what it's supposed to be? Sadly I found it to be a huge distraction that almost ruined some otherwise amazing shots. frown

Thanks guys smile The processing on these was always going to be a bit marmite. I'll post up a "how to" later as some other folks have been asking.

I think the picts are somewhat unnecessarily over processed too. Shame, i'd have enjoyed them more in a more natural state.

Still, Bug Jam! Always a good time to be had there smile

Nick, you are waaay too good at this! bow And thanks for the explanation of how they were produced. Sorry to hear the motor's poorly, hope it's OK for the SuperNats, I expect to be there and I'll keep an eye out for you.

Good to hear that, Nick. May I pollute your thread with some distinctly average shots (it might keep Simpo and Kermit happy if nothing else biggrin )
