Fitting eliseparts mesh grilles to engine cover of S2
Discussion
Hi All,
I bought a kit of mesh grilles to put on my S2 and did the front ones and the 'bonnet' at xmas, but the engine cover ones looked like a bit of a faff so I haven't bothered to attempt it yet. It looks like the OEM ones are bonded or at some points attached with fixtures to the top surface of the cover, where the new ones appear to require bonding to the underside, meaning that the now-exposed tops will require a lot of work to make them presentable. Anyone else done this? any tips?
