Hants TVRCC "Great Brighton Blast" Sun 28/12/03
Discussion
Hi All
Just a quick note about the above event. The details, briefly are, we will meet up at Wickham Square (note not Bishops Waltham) at 10.30/10.45 ish with a get away time of 11am, ish, I will be getting a volunteer to plan a decent route?? A27 via Lewes/Newhaven is a nice run? (Any takers?)
David Pennington(RO) possibly can`t make it but he has put some details on the Hants TVRCC web site? We will stop at the start of the Speed trail section on the sea front were you can have a stroll to walk off some Turkey or find a coffee bar or we could find a pub if you want?As most of you have indicated that it`s the Drive you want we can play this bit "by ear"Hopfully the weather will be kind and we will have a decent turn out at a tradionally "boring" bit of the Xmas/New year break. Any queries/questions please post or E-mail me off line, Have a merry christmas and i will see you on the 28th Tony (a.k.a T88CAN)

As this site has featured in Autocar and The Times recently .... I thought I'd add a small disclaimer.
As many of you know Tony has organised a few runs. These are usually on A roads, which will have other road users. As it can be difficult for everyone to keep together, Tony usually agrees stops, to allow people to regroup. Have a fun day and keep it safe. - We'll see you at the next halt.

Two groups of friends lives have been shattered by two (non TVR) road accidents in the last few months.

Well done Dave - wise words.
Only been on one of Tony's runs :slapwrist: but can say how extremely well organised it was.

Hi
Im hoping to bring our usual small convoy down from sunny South London if thats ok.
We did this last year in the pouring rain & had over 20 cars on the seafront. Any idea what time you exect to arrive??
Nick
And if I remember correctly the bl**dy West pier fell down that day, 29th December. Guess what? they tried to blame us!
Did you get my mail?
Might even make this one after all.
I am currently in negotiations with the Procurement & Entertainment Department as we are supposed to be at friends on that day.
My argument stands that we saw them more recently than you lot, it's not holding much water at the moment but has to be worth persuing.
