Anybody had experience of either of these two Haven sites ? Trip Advisor has very mixed reviews. Most say dire. There is the odd good review in there two but not many.

Over to PH for their reviews.

Thanks.

We stayed in Craig Tara a couple of years ago in one of the chalets. It was stinking, the cleaners hadn't emptied the ashtrays, there was a bit of toast in the grill, half a bottle of vodka in the fridge someone elses showergel and stuff in the shower and the plughole was partially blocked by a huge big scab hurl Beds seemed clean enough though. took ages to check in, we'd requested a cot for our 1 YO which wasn't delivered until after 8 p.m. about an hour after his bedtime so he was a grumpy wee bks. Pool closed ridiculously early or was bunged so my older 2 only managed to use it once in 4 days. Lots of other stuff was charged additionally. Family entertainment didn't seem to start until nearly 10 p.m. so not great for those with young kids but was quite good once it started.
I complained afterwards and got another free weekend as compo staying in one of their caravans, it was spotless. We used it as a base to go to louden castle and day trips to other places and then a couple of drinks in the bar at night and it was dead on for that.
If you get a cheap booking it's handy enough.

My colleague recently stayed a weekend at Haggerston Castle, thought it was lovely and thoroughly enjoyed herself.
