'Crazy Cameras'

[Ganglandboss]

Has anybody heard of them or used them even?

I am after a Nikon 18-200mm AF-S VR DX Zoom-Nikkor Lens.

Jessops are selling them for £550 and the London Camera Exchange (Manchester branch) are selling them for a tenner less. I have had a look on Fleabay and have found one from a trustworthy looking seller for £460.

My colleage just sent me this link.

£288 sounds too good to be true and despite the UK website; they appear to be American with no UK contact details other than a non-geographical phone number.

Alarm bells are ringing; am I right to be concerned?

Thanks.

The price is £457.99. You save £288 so it is similar to the ebay price.

Based on this thread http://www.avforums.com/forums/digital-photography... steer clear.

Oops!

I would stay clear, all the reviews from that site are copied and pasted from amazon. Doesn't look good.

Cheers!

I think I'll swerve that one.

Having read that I'd steer clear too. £288 or £460.
