Mine is fitted with the AD 07's which are apparently a dealer only supply.

My dealer just quoted £310 all-in for a pair of rears, while Hanger 111 quoted £266, but I'll need to pay extra get them fitted.

the 111 guys appear to be offering 'US Spec' tyres - are these the same as the UK, or are there any other options for the 'S' than the AD 07s ?

The fronts still have a lot of life in them after 11k.

Incidentally, the fronts on the 'S' seem to be wearing much more evenly than the previous S1 and S2 cars I've owned.

Hi there, AD07's are the preffered option round here for Elise S and R and SC. (If you look at the other treads etc)

They are all LOT spec from Hanger 111 and Elise Parts, AD07's are LOT spec for the Elise indicated by a Red Dot. (Unless I am corrected on here)

That price is about the going rate, and probably worth doing at the dealer then you dont have the bother of finding a good fitter etc. (Unless you know one)

Hope that helps....

AD07s? A few people will be biting their hands off at that price! Most places seem to be £260 supply, ~£300 fitted

That is really cheap R-Racer! Is that defently for AD07's rather than Bridgestone?

Last week my local dealer quoted 265 without fitting, as I wanted to take away and 210 for the front pair.

Best price I've seen in Edinburgh is £240 for a pair excluding fitting.

AD07s seem to wear a little quicker than the Bridgestones .. I went through 3 pairs of rears and 1 pair of fronts in 20 months and 20000 miles around 7k miles per set of rears and 14k for the fronts ...I did enjoy myself though biggrin they were awesome in the wet and dry imho. I never tried Bridgestones on the elise the yokos were just too good.

Defently the tyre of choice, speaking to people that have bridgestone on the VX's, seem to be good on hot days, but dont heat up well in anything but sunny days, unlike the AD07's.

Got Bridgestone's on the oil burner and there good fun in the wet with the traction control off, but would not wont them on the Elise !

Cheers for checking R Racer - wish could get them for nearer 200!

The Bridgestones are very good - it's just that the Yokos are even better. As for wear...18,000 on rear Bridgies, just about to change rear Yokos after 15K...

Yea, MMC the only Lotus dealer in Scotland, but that is a discounted price agreed for Scottish Elises.
