Draft screen for a Tuscan Convertible.

Can anyone tell me where I can find one of those screens that some convertibles (Mercs etc) have that sit behind the heads of the occupants and block the backdraft.
Wanted to try it out on my Tuscan.
I guess going to a dealer and buying from spares, but apart from Mercs., what other makes have them ?

Porsche, BMW, and Audi are three that come to mind straightaway.

Toyota MR2s have a little glass one. Saabs and Minis have them. Have a trawl on Fleabay too; IIRC there is someone selling aftermarket mesh ones.

I know there is a used screen of this type from a Jagaur E-type (might be possible to adapt it to fit?) in the classified section under Jaguar in the parts section.

I don't know enough about them to say if it can be made to fit, but worth an investigate?

I bought a MGF one via Ebay last year planning on fitting it in the S. Never got round to doing anything with it yet.
It could really have done with being 3or4 inches wider.

Actual measurements 35 1/2" * 9 1/2"

Looking at ones from other manufactures they all had fancy brackets and mounting systems. I was just going to put a bracket on the top seatbelt mounting point.

Seriously though, I question why you would need one in a TVR? Given that the hood arrangement means that with the roof fully folded you still have the folded rear section behind you in both my TVRs this has provided sufficient protection, then of course, you can always put-up the rear section, assuming the Tuscan is the same as the Griff and S3c which I believe it is, and drive with it up. I often see chaps out with their wives/partners with the rear section raised to give them more protection. Personally I don't do it but I have tried it and it is certainly cosy. So why go to a whole load of bother for something that's superfluous because of the unique roof design of the cars?

Point taken RichB and it is only an idea but I found my Chimaera a bit to much with the roof down or part down when on the motorway.
I loved my Mk1 Tuscan driving it with the roof on but the rear screen our. Great for long distance hot weather driving ie South of France.
Having seen demo's of how well the screens work, I was considering it for my Drive down to Spain in a couple of weeks.
By mid day it will be to hot not to have the roof up so maybe its more bother than its worth.
Also if I cant do a good job then I wont do it. Dont want to introduce the "furry dice" look.
