Karting Up North! (Repost)

Any Pistonheaders fancy a Karting/"Show off your car" meet Up North sometime? Any suggestions as to venues, dates etc are welcome.

Come on then get those ideas rolling in.

To start the ball rolling how about Daytona in Manchester?

Reposting here as suggested by WhiteChimp500 to get a bit more publicity (Does anyone look at the events/meetings section or is it just that no-one is interested?).

I'm going to watch the 750 car club races at Oulton Park on Sat April 6th. If you fancy it let me know.

I must admit, it's not easy finding other TVR around here (South Yorkshire) who like to get together. The SY branch of TVRCC is not really my cup of tea (runs to traction engine rallies etc - hmmm...).

I get the feeling that there needs to be a different "club" in the S. Yorks - Manchester area, dare I say it, for "younger" Tivvers - (don't shoot me down, boys, I'm 42, a parent, responsible job etc., it's more about attitude) It's only 30 mins from Sheffield to Manchester, and over Snake Pass is a great run. I did reply to your earlier post on this subject, so if you get some more support for karting, keep this thread posted.
