Whats the best discount on a JCW convertible

Im thinking of changing our Golf R32 for a brand new John Cooper Works convertible,built to our specification.At the moment the car we want retails at a mind boggling £30k,and even with my trade contacts I can only shave 4 or 5% off that figure.

Has anyone done any better than that or are decent mini discounts unobtainable anywhere!?

By being a bit flexible on spec and colour I managed a smidge over 6% off a new clubman by getting a ready built (unregistered) one which was for a showroom or cancelled order.

Meant I didn't get exactly what I wanted, but not far off. Also only had to wait a week for it.
