As many know, I'm currently doing freelance design along side my normal work, and currently considering going full time so to speak with my freelance, so a couple of questions.

The posibilty of some stand space, very close to the main stage (i.e: visible) looks like its become available, so I'm thinking of taking it.

Has anyone ever exhibited there. What do you feel the feedback is? Were you impressed, did any work come of it etc etc?

(My main audience is really the trade market which is Thurs-Friday, which means Saturday/Sunday may be it a bit of a chore)

Have you ever been (well worth going if you havent) and bought something, or seeing a stand has lead to you buying something?

My other concern is the cost for visitors, it does seem a bit steep, even though I've always enjoyed every one.

Just wondering. Any feedback really greatly appreciated

If it comes off, I'll tell you which stand in Hall 7 so you can all come along and say hello

I had a stand there about 10 years ago and it worked well.

However, for your business, I would suggest trying to blag a trade day ticket and hawk your portfolio around to the exhibitors rather than take a stand (or even part of one). You will get to speak to far more people this way, it will be way cheaper and you will also gert to actually see the show too.

Don't worry about the cost for visitors, if your potential clients are professional or drivers then they probably get in for free, as a BRSCC member you get a free pass anyway.

I was there back in 2000 on a stand flogging the 'new' and improved Formula Honda series! We left Racing Pulse before the year was out because the backer ran out of money, or rather his wife decided he had., it was a shame really as the only people who suffered where the racers themselves, and they were, almost without exception, fantastic guys.

I'm proud to say that stand was all my creation, single handedly, from designing the livery, cutting the graphics, creating and designing the brochure painting the pannels, making the name tags etc etc.

The stands are very very expensive, be sure that you'll see a return before signing up.

Good luck
