PS3 about to go through the window

Why the hell is the PS3 so flaming annoying?!

I don't go on it often but fancied an hour or so of Fifa tonight so I fired it up and it has another bleeding update to download. FFS, all I want to do is play football...

agreed. i use my PS3 about once ever month if that. and every time I got on it takes fecking ages to donwload new updats FFS

I don't manage to have it off with the missus very often but I like the fact that when I turn her on I can be on it within seconds

It's made of jam. Pure and simple. And it needs to keep downloading new jam as the old stuff keeps going out of date.

THis is exactly what has stopped me buying an XBOX or PS3...I want to be able to buy a game, stick the disc in and play it to its full potential and with all its content. From what I see it seems like you buy a product and its only half finished so you then spend more time / money buying stuff to finish it.

Dont paint the XBox with the stty PS3 brush ! I have both and the PS3 has become my DVD player in the bedroom its that rubbish!!

XBox hardly ever needs updates dont think i have had one this year ! so go out and get an XBox Arcade £97 ASDA

Each console has its problems. The Red Light of death with the xbox, the fact you have to pay for live, there are updates. Fact of life on both systems.

Every game update i saw on 360 took mere seconds, i assume the updates were just codefixes rather than new maps/content.

Shame about the ps3, wonder why they don't background download the update to the hdd and install it on your next run, would be much less hassle.

I run my PS3 at least once a week, not really had many issues with updates, then again I'm on a 22mbps connection nothing seems to take very long...

He has both consoles and it's his opinion, hows that being a tt ??

Everybody I know with both consoles has the same opinion. Never once have I spoken to someone with both consoles that rates the PS3 above an Xbox.

So, who are the tts ? The ones that have both consoles and have made their own opinions, or those that disagree with those peoples opinions and call them tts when only owning one of the consoles themselves ??

He kind of forgot that Live was down for 24 hours a few weeks ago for a huge update though
