COD 4 pc

Right i am a bit stuck here>played the game online completed everything and as single player so i installed the game again after deleting it to start from scratch i have all the patches 1.4 1.6 1.7 bla bla bla but the game will not play any idea as to what it is that is stopping it ?? could it be a hidden reg file ??

A few questions..

What's your operating system, directx version, graphics card and driver, has anything been changed on your PC since it last worked properly in regards to the above or anything else system related?

Does the game load up at all and where to? i.e. main menu, intro movie....

Does only single player or multiplayer mode work?

If not, what error messages do you get (if any)?

directx version is 9 all was working fine until i installed the game again config files blah blah i have installed all the patches again but all it does is show the start of the game single/multi then nothing happens
