Cheap holiday, somewhere warm, please.

My wife an I fancy a cheap holiday, self catering in a small cottage or similair, probably South of France or Northern Spain for a week at the start of August. Don't really fancy a town or city type environment, just somewhere to chill out, possibly cycle to nearest village for grub and pop.

Any ideas folks?
