Hi,

Anyone here got recommendations of good Bangkok hotels up to say £100 a night?

Cheers,

Stayed here numerous times - not sure of the exchange rate at present but a decent room was c.£50 per night.

The location is good, it's clean and the staff are friendly. Will probably have a couple of nights there in August before heading down to Phuket.

which is on another level when compared to the above but is considerably more expensive.

Guess it depends on whether you're just going to be sleeping there or if you want to lounge around a pool. If its the latter then the Shangri La, Sheraton or Oriental would be my choice.

Mandarin Oriental is £183 a night for a room! Little bit out of my price range smile

Shangri-la is £83 a night which is okish and Grand China is about £50 a night at the moment too, might give it some thought. Cheers for the reply.

Peninsula is my fave hotel, but above your budget I think. Check www.asiarooms.com for reviews and good prices.
