Broken oven advice

After a bit of advice about an oven that stopped working last month. It wasn't in great condition whilst it was working (when put to fan oven mode the fan must have been hitting something, because it was making an almighty racket) but it gave up the ghost last month - I turned it on to preheat, came down 20 mins later and the display was going nuts. Turned off at mains, turned on again...and nothing working. The spark for the gas hob works off the same mains switch and that works fine - but no lights on cooker, and not turning on.

Was wondering if this is likely to be something a novice can fix or whether I should get someone in to get it sorted. If so, anyone got any recommendations for the Beds area?
