Mmmmm stickers...

Just taken a half day off work and arrived back home to find Pistonheads stickers lying on the doormat.

Can a day get any better? More exciting than getting a set of Star Wars transfers from a cereal packet... (showing my age)

But what does anybody reckon is the best way the stick to glass? 'Dry'? Washing up liquid? Spit-and-hope?

Also is it acceptable to put one on a particularly dodgy old Nissan Coupe?

If you see me around Notts (or anywhere in the country late Saturday nights/Sun mornings!) gissa wave/flash/etc to make me feel popular (and slightly associated with decent fast cars)

Clean glass and just smoothe them on firmly is the method.

I'd be laughed off the one-way system in the Nissan - it has 13" steel wheels, no 'ICE' at all (not even a radio), and the exhaust is less than 2" in diameter. Oh, and it's a girls car anyway I reckon.

Any I was on the Mansfield Circuit in my Mk2 Escort (hopelessly out-of-date boyracer) when I was too young to know better.

EDIT: Just realised why you might think that about me... Nooooooo - the Sat night/Sun morning thing is cos I work all over the country at those times (to do with railway maintenance), not clubbing/cruising!

But sometimes theres a fruitcake in a Datsun, sorry Nissan 300ZX which is a bit quick, round there.

As it happens I am considering a Nissan 200SX as a replacement anyway.

Want something cheapish, quickish, amd good for long distances.

Might start a thread about ideas for the replacement car.
