Hi all,

I'm having some issues with my Vauxhall Corsa B, basically I have the ECU light come on, and there is a timing issue with the engine. I don't really know what it is but I think it might be the lambda sensor.

I went to the vauxhall garage and they wanted 45 quid to plug their computer in and read the codes. I'm a bit skeptical about this, and at the end of the day ti might just prove me right and I'll effectively have just dumped the best part of fifty quid. Does anyone know any garages local ish to southampton that will read the ECU codes for something a bit more reasonable.

There is a 'paperclip' test you can do on most corsa B's however mine has a different ECU that most, and it has an unrecognised pin setup.

Thanks

RT/10Dave

You can get hold of a basic code reader on ebay for about £20 - £30 they come with a code list and details of how to use them, pretty simple to use, just plug and play

Same with me Loque, if T66ORA's unavailable then I also have an OBD2 reader you can use. I'm in Gosport.

Does anyone on here know of a garage with a "T4" reader for my MG ZT-T 260? It's kind of a specific one and I'm trying to look at fault history to see if I can locate a mis-fire.
