Looking for a photo location, must be a field full of red poppies. If anybody's spotted one on their recent travels please post details here or pm me.

TIA smile

Near Winchester there is a field of white, and I *think* a field of red poppies here:

Head along that road and as you come up from under the railway bridge into the tightish right hand bend the fields are on your left.

Thanks for the feedback and ideas, people.

Someone told me about a place nearer to home (esp than the Loire Valley, thanks for that wink ). Might check out Winchester in the next couple of days anyway.

There is again this year. Take a drive Wellhouse Lane from Harestock to Kings Worthy - You can't miss. They're all Pink this year, but if you hang a left along Down Farm Lane there is a field of red ones too.

I can see Wellhouse lane from the train, and I don't see any poppies this year?
Compared to being covered in bright red last year.
