I've been asked to produce another screensaver. I'll provide mulitple res versions... trying to work out which ones. I really don't want to use 'fit to screen' (for obvious reasons). I know this place is not full of 'ya average PC user', but I have to start somewhere.

THE POLL GIVES A DEFAULT OPTION... untick it ii it doesn't apply to you!

By the way - the poll supports multiple answers.

ETA Does anyone know af a site that gives current estimates for what res people use? I can find data but its way out of date. (640 x 480 anyone) yikes

Damn, just as I voted for 1280x1024 I saw I'd forgotten to uncheck the default...

There's no option for dual screens (I find two essential for photo editing) if that makes your screensaver plans any different?

edited to say, use various resolutions myself, 1024 on netbook, 1280 on laptop, 1600 at work, and 1920 at home. At least you know 1024 is the minimum, ignore those below!

This is becoming a very popular resolution now due to cheap 22" monitors.

As a 'cheap'skate user of a 'cheap' 22" LCD screen I'm on 1680x1050 grumpy shame that NWM fails to reveal his resolution!!!

Sorry i didnt make it clear, im on 1680x1050 too.

i didnt mean everyone using these screens or resolution are cheap, i meant that there are some mega cheap 22" around at the moment.

£120 for a no name 22" id consider that cheap, and is what most people i know seem to be buying when they upgrade form their 17" or 19" monitors that used to be 1280x1024.

For me and i presume many others (on here especially) quality matters and its why i spent around £250 for a 22" when the cheapest at the time was around £180.

A lot of people on 1024x768 - which surprises me. Aren't most laptops of that sort of size about 1280x800 or thereabouts, for wide-screen-o-vision?

I ticked 1920x1200, because more pixels is better.

Oooh, get you, with your "one monitor for porn and the other for PH" setup.
