Why has this not got any mainstream love?
Bose suspension, here is a video:

Here is their site:

I can't think of a good reason for the big boys like Bentley etc to have not taken this tech and used it, am I missing something?
Having a ride that is flatter than Michael Jacksons heart monitor must surely be a good thing?
Educate me!

Weren't Lotus doing this in the late 70s / early 80s? Along with Land Rover, Citroen and the rest?

Silly little things like weight, price, complexity, price, car sickness, price etc came into play. Imagine how much power it must use to move those hydraulics use.

Citroen Xantia Activa 2.0 turbo. Circa 1995 I think. I never drove one having not passed my test back then, but my old man was a Citroen dealer back then, and he had one as his demo. Seemed a very odd thing to put in a Xantia, well known as being one of the most wobbly and wallowy cars ever built. Yes it cornered flat, but complete lack of feel so I imagine if you pushed hard you would be largely unaware where the limit is.

Does anyone know what happened to this? Why, 4 years after the last post, do will still not see this on cars, either in OEM or aftermarket applications?
