Heathrow to Oxford by public transport

On Sunday afternoon the GF is arriving in Heathrow and is destined for Oxford. Can anybody suggest or recommend the most expeditious and cost-effective way of getting to Oxford by public transport? Would it being on a Sunday make much difference?

She needs to go to the coach depot and get the Oxford coach (can't remember no.). Frequent service, takes c1 hr straight into Gloucester Green, with stops at Park & Ride, Headington etc.
