Who's going? They have added this extra one this month to make up for not having the July one due to the FoS.
It's 'Performance Car Legends - post 1970 Driver's Cars' Attracting: Sports and GT cars from the 1970s to the present day, from Jensen Interceptor to Ariel Atom, as well as Lotus, Caterham, TVR, Porsche and many more, plus retractable aircraft."
Entrance is free, with a Tiv we would be marshalled in to be part of the event and will probably be parked on the track, near the chicane, pits or in the paddock ares.
I'm planning to go via M25 (west)to A3 leaving Watford area about 07:00 to arrive Goodwood about 08:45. Always good to arrive with wing men

OK, there's a service area on the A3 SOUTHBOUND at Ripley, just a couple of miles south of the M25 intersection. It appears as a BP petrol station with a Little Chef and there's plenty of parking space in the Little Chef area, just before entering thje petrol station forecourt.Suggest 07:30 - 07:45 there to leave at 07:45.

Goodwood open the racing circuit and anyone with a vehicle appropriate to the theme of the day is invited to display it somewhere on the circuit. Guests who don't have an appropriate vehicle are equally welcome but park in the public parking areas. Everyone is allowed in freely without payment but there is no programme or set event.
Think of it as a huge meet where everyone looks at everyone elses cars etc and talks about the same sort of stuff we do at a smaller meet.
There's a breakfast area where there's a full English or (my preference) vans doing great bacon rolls and tea/coffee!
Oficially it opens at 08:30 but I've seen people arrive and get in before that on occasions. Some people start to drift away at about 10:30 - 11:00 and by midday it's all over!
There's a great atmoisphere, it's a beautiful circuit and a great drive from London.
Now, what's all this about "painters overalls"?? Bloody cheek, don't you start as well Keith!!!

How about Shell Garage forecourt at 06:50 Keith. That's the Shell at Sterling Corner on the A1. Just one junction south on the A1 from the M25... (it's where you would turn left off the A1 towards Barnet if you were going to the TVR Centre). See you there!can i tag along for the run in
