Essex Chimaeras

Is it any of you guys who drives a blue Chimaera to work everyday along the A127 between Romford and Basildon?
I see it everyday going in the other direction.

Also saw a green one today at Tescos in Langdon Hills.

That sounds like me - I drive from the M25 out to Basildon - blue N reg Chimaera. But if you've seen it in the last 2 weeks it isn't me - I've bought a banger to get me to work instead!

I came to the mid Essex meet about a year ago in the Supra.
I was thinking about getting a TVR then.

I'm still thinking about it.

I used to live in Basildon, off Clay HIll Road. Long time ago mind. And... used to play football for Langdon Hills U-12s!!

Sometimes get back down there to see the wife's folks ... haven't had a chance to go in the Chim yet altho' may be doing just that in April ... !!

Perhps I can pass myself off as Jason F if I go shopping in Tescos as mine is green too!!

O.k, I might take you up on that.
I was going past Castle TVR today and had a quick nose around.
They're all a bit to expensive at the moment in the dealers, so I think I may look privately.

When is the next meet by the way, as the Essex web site appears to be down at the mo.

Essex site has changed. Its now www.midessextvr.co.uk as there is a new chap doing it.

The meeting is the 1st Sunday of the month.

I work in Basildon and have a 4.0 Kingfisher blue Chimaera P reg. I travel backwards/forwards to north essex. If you see one with a Leven SS Grill on the front its mine. I'll Be selling it soon if anyones interested.

I didn't see the blue one last week, and I'm off work this week.
The one I see has a stick on Number plate on the bonnet.I usually see it on the A127 between Hornchurch & the Laindon turn off at about 8.15.

I saw another Chimaera in Langdon Hills a few months ago now P400 TVR.

I also saw a Griff the other day, M44 TVR coming home from work at the Dunton Traffic lights.
I was behind it and tried to keep up as he pulled away, but failed miserably.
Still it was worth a try though.

I do the 127 to the M25 most morning at 5:45 (NICE) - sometime in old Beige Polo (Don't Laugh it is Awesome -105 easy and very incognito!) and some of the time in my Silver Chimera 500 Rplater (Girlfriend lives in Romford) - slightly more obvious when Thrashing it to work!
